【摘要】:ThisproposedrevisionmakestwokeychangestoStandard133-2001.First,itdecreasesthedifferencebetweenthedry-bulbandwet-bulbtemperaturesfrom25to20°F(14to11°C),thusincreasingthetimeswhentestingcouldbeaccomplishedusingunconditionedairwhilestillnotreducingtheaccuracyofthetest.Second,itprovidesbetterflexibilitybynolongerlimitingtemperaturemeasurementtospecifictypesofinstrumentsaslongastheymeettherequirementsofASHRAEStandard41.1.AllreferenceswereupdatedandASHRAEStandard41.2(insteadof51)isreferencedformeasurementofairflow.

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)pipeproducedbysingleextrusioninstandardthermoplasticpipedimensionratiosandpressureratedforwater(seeAppendixX1).IncludedarecriteriaforclassifyingABSplasticpipematerialsandABSplasticpipe,asystemofnomenclatureforABSplasticpipe,andrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,workmanship,dimensions,sustainedpressure,burstpressure,andextrusionquality.Methodsofmarkingarealsogiven.1.2Theproductscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedforusewiththedistributionofpressurizedliquids,whicharechemicallycompatiblewiththepipingmaterials.Consultwiththemanufacturerandlocalbuildingcodesbeforeuseinotherapplications.Duetoinherenthazardsassociatedwithtestingcomponentsandsystemswithcompressedairorothercompressedgasessomemanufacturersdonotallowpneumatictestingoftheirproducts.Consultwithspecificproduct/componentmanufacturersfortheirspecifictestingprocedurespriortopneumatictesting.Note18212;Pressurized(compressed)airorothercompressedgasescontainlargeamountsofstoredenergy,whichpresentserioussafetyhazardsshouldasystemfailforanyreason.Note28212;Thisspecificationaddressesonlypipeforuseinabovegroundservice.Forburiedserviceconsultthemanufacturerandlocalbuildingcodes.Note38212;ExposuretoultravioletradiationoveralongperiodoftimemayaffectthephysicalpropertiesofABSpipe.Consultthemanufacturerforrecommendationsforhandling,storage,andinstallationsthatarenotprotectedbyinsulation.1.3PipemeetingtherequirementsofthisstandardarenotcompatiblewithIPSsizedDWVfittings.TheABSpipecoveredinthisstandardisintendedforpressureserviceanditshallbejoinedtopressurefittings.Non-pressurefittings,suchasDWVfittingsfromanymaterial(ABS,PVC,CPVC,etc.),arenotacceptableforpressureapplications.1.4Units8212;ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixes,whichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
