【摘要】:1.1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthecommonrequirementsforsafetyandthe(minimum)commonperformancerequirementsoffirefightingandrescueservicevehiclesasdesignatedinEN1846-1.NOTE1CategoriesandmassclassesofthesevehiclesaregiveninEN1846-1.WhendraftingthisEuropeanStandardithasbeenassumedthatthefinishedstandardautomotivechassis(orthechassisdesignedinaccordancewiththesameprinciples)thatisthebasisforthefirefightingorrescuevehicle,offersanacceptablesafetylevelforitsbasictransportfunctionswithinthelimitsspecifiedbythemanufacturer.Therefore,thisEuropeanStandarddoesnotformulaterequirementsforthischassis.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttofirefightingandrescueservicevehicles,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsofmisusewhicharereasonablyforeseeablebythemanufacturer(seeClause4).ComplementaryspecificrequirementsforaerialappliancesarethesubjectofthefollowingEuropeanStandards:?EN1777:Hydraulicplatforms(HPs)forfirefightingandrescueservices,?EN14043:Turntableladderswithcombinedmovements,?EN14044:Turntableladderswithsequentialmovements.Thesespecificrequirementsmaysupplementormodifytherequirementsofthisdocumentandtheytakeprecedenceoverthecorrespondingrequirementsofthisdocument.NOTE2Additionalregulations,notdealtwithinthisdocument,mayapplyinrelationwiththeuseofthevehiclesonpublicroads.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithfirefightingandrescuevehiclesintendedforuseinatemperaturerangefrom–15°Cto+35°C.NOTE3Inthecaseofutilisationoutsidethistemperaturerange,additionalmeasuresmaybenecessaryasagreedbetweenthemanufacturerandtheuser.SuchrequirementsareoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.1.2ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwiththefollowingtypesoffire-fightingorrescuevehiclesorequipment:?vehiclesdesignedexclusivelyforcarryingpersonnel;?vehicleswithagrossladenmassnotexceeding3t;?boats;?aircraft;?railwayvehicles;?ambulances(seeEN1789);?provisionsforremovableequipmentdrivenbyPTO;?airportvehiclesinthescopeoftherecommendationsoftheInternationalCivilAviationOrganisation(ICAO).1.3ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththetechnicalrequirementstominimisethehazardslistedinClause4whichcanariseduringoperationaluse,routinecheckingandmaintenanceoffirefightingandrescueservicevehicleswhencarriedoutinaccordancewiththespecificationsgivenbythemanufacturerorhisauthorisedrepresentative.Itdoesnotcoverthehazardsgeneratedby:?non-permanentlyinstalledequipmenti.e.portableequipmentcarriedonthevehicle;?useinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres;?commissioninganddecommissioning;?electromagneticcompatibility.AdditionalmeasuresnotdealtwithinthisEuropeanStandardmaybenecessaryforspecificuse(e.g.fireinnaturalenvironment,flooding,etc.).1.4ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletomachinesthataremanufacturedbeforeitsdateofpublicationasanEuropeanStandard.
