【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesameansofpreparinganumberofgelvehiclesampleswithminimumuseofmaterialsandtime.Itprovidesameansofquicklycharacterizingandcomparingthegelabilityorreactivityofresins,vehicles,andgellingagents.1.1Thispracticeoutlinesaprocedureforpreparinggelledvehiclesamplesusingamicrowaveoven.1.2Thetestsamplescanbeusedforcharacterizingthegelabilityorreactivityofresins,gellingagents,andvehiclesusedinthemanufactureofoilbasedprintinginks,orboth.1.3Evaluationofthegelledvehiclesmay,dependinguponpreference,beeithervisualorinstrumental.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
