【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversacoextrudedpolyethylenecompositepressurepipewithaweldedaluminumtubereinforcementbetweentheinnerandouterlayers.Theinnerandouterpolyethylenelayersarebondedtothealuminumtubebyameltadhesive.Includedisasystemofnomenclatureforthepolyethylene-aluminum-polyethylene(PE-AL-PE)pipes,therequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,thedimensionsandstrengthsofthecomponenttubesandfinishedpipe,adhesiontests,andtheburstandsustainedpressureperformance.Alsogivenaretherequirementsandmethodsofmarking.Thepipecoveredbythisspecificationisintendedforuseinpotablewaterdistributionsystemsforresidentialandcommercialapplications,waterservice,undergroundirrigationsystems,andradientpanelheatingsystems,baseboard,snow-andice-meltsystems,andgasesthatarecompatiblewithcompositepipeandfittings.Thisspecificationrelatesonlytometalandplasticcompositepipesincorporatingaweldedmetallictube.Theweldedmetallictubeofitselfiscapableofsustaininginternalpressures.Pipesconsistingofmetalliclayersnotweldedtogetherareoutsidethescopeofthisspecification.Specificationsforconnectorsforusewithpipemeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregivenin.Thisspecificationexcludescrosslinkedpolyethylene-aluminum-crosslinkedpolyethylenepipes(seeSpecificationF1281).ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
